Synthetic Realism
Synthetic Realism is a handy label that expresses the nature of an art that is not abstract or concrete nor surreal but is involved in the use of sometimes extreme metaphor used in the poetic sense as being specific as a new creation in itself with reference to the deep experience of the real. Thus in artistic terms to make a synthesis an exchange of the real to metaphor to synthesis of a whole.
